UFOs Go Mainstream

UFOs Go Mainstream

If we want another social disrupter in this “Year of Chaos,” the full public disclosure that UFOs are real would do the job. We saw UFOs go mainstream last year as Congress started openly interrogating people over their involvement with UFOs or their knowledge of people or departments involved with them. One story in the news today summarizes how many members of Congress are convinced the deep state has been hiding evidence from Congress for decades. Here’s a rundown of the story, which is included in the headlines at the end of this editorial:

Newly declassified documents reveal that two of our nation’s most senior senators in recent years were/are convinced the U.S. government secretly retrieved exotic craft of “non-human” origin. Senator Chuck Schumer and the late Sen. Harry Reid have had bipartisan support from a number of other high-level senators over the years for their inquiries into what is being hidden about UFOs by the intel. agencies/military departments of the US government. Some of those ranking senators claim to have observed UFOs directly.

None of the government people named in the article, who believed their own government was hiding UFO secrets, were lightweights. The list is a who’s who of powerhouses in Congress who, even with their political clout have not been able to unclasp the doors said to guard this secret knowledge. While the story reads like a giant conspiracy theory for The X-files, most of it is now congressional record, while the interest in forcing those locked doors open has intensified. The problem is not lacking the power to force doors open but finding the doors that need to be opened. The documents, in other words, read like congressional facts.

Back in 2011, then-Senator Jospeh Lieberman, chair of the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee, met with a high-level scientist in the Dept. of Homeland Security to establish an ultra-secret UFO program. Today’s newly released congressional documents outline in detail how the program’s purpose was to gain access to UFO “inventory” held by various departments of the US government and then to experiment on that inventory in order to backward engineer it.

Yes, this is the kind of plot that drove plenty of episodes of The X-files and has been the backbone of more than a few Sci-Fi movies, except this is congressional record disclosed now to all members of Congress and the public, acknowledging the creation of such a program. Lieberman and Reid at the time said the establishment of the program was a matter of state “urgency.”

The newly declassified and released documents treat all of the details, including possession of biological samples, as statements of fact about what the government has and what the program was created to do. The program was rapidly quashed, and the story about these newly released documents makes no mention as to why. Was it that an empowered deep state had the people positioned in government necessary to shut it down?

Could be, and one might easily say that is conspiracy theory, too; and it is in terms of lacking hard evidence outside the documents, themselves, but here is what has changed in the past year as the story refused to die:

Schumer and a bipartisan group of senators have introduced legislation that, again, brings up the existence of these programs as facts, including specifically the attempt to backward-engineer UFOs of “non-human” origin. In presenting the legislation to Congress, Senator Schumer leveled the following accusation:

The government “has gathered a great deal of information about [UFOs] over many decades but has refused to share it with the American people.”

Sen. Schumer says that multiple credible sources have come forward to state that parties of the US government have withheld UFO-related information from Congress illegally.

Once again, Congress gutted Schumer’s legislation of its most important parts. Recently separate legislation made government funding of any such programs illegal. You cannot go after something when you don’t know where it is happening, but the legislation, at least, raises the risk for anyone involved in such a covert program, if they are caught, as they are operating against the law if they are so involved. Senator Rubio and Senate Intelligence and Armed Services committee member Gillibrand sponsored that legislation. The legislation makes UFO retrieval, analysis and engineering illegal, as well as any security-related actions or counterintelligence. President Biden signed that legislation into law last December.

While the stir over US knowledge of UFOs died down some since December, Schumer is dogging the issue and intends to bring his original legislation back before Congress again this year. Meanwhile the Pentagon’s own UFO office has been discredited by some of its own blatantly false reports. In the meantime, adding fuel to the idea of a deep-state cover, several high-level government officials have refused to meet with the director of the UFO fact-finding office that Congress established last year.

Today’s article also notes that the Department of Justice is involved with some form of “criminal investigation” regarding illegal UFO programs. It doesn’t say anything about the nature of that investigation, whether it is the whistleblowers being investigated or the people/departments they blew the whistle on.

So, the mystery continues to swirl, but the number of high-level members of Congress making accusations of illegal government activity involved with UFOs of non-human origin has become intense.
