Extraterrestrial Benevolence

People often think of aliens as something to fear because of how humans have been taught to see them; through movies, books, TV shows, and even religious texts, which usually portray extraterrestrials as dangerous or hostile.
This has been deliberately shaped by those in power to instill fear in the collective, so that humanity rejects the possibility of contact with life beyond Earth; for when this occurs, the forces that rely on fear and control begin to lose their power.
Over time, this has influenced thinking so that when the subject of aliens is brought up, many automatically imagine something evil. It also connects to a natural human instinct; when something is not understood, people tend to be cautious or even afraid of it.
The universe is vast, with billions of stars and planets where all forms of life thrive. And the majority of extraterrestrial life is in fact peaceful and cooperative.
So we ask you; instead of assuming the worst, imagine a universe where most life is calm and benevolent; where many of these beings are not only seeking new connections and the expansion of a greater galactic family, but are also offering assistance to civilizations for further evolution.
