CONNECTING WITH THE FAIRIES ~ DOREEN VIRTUE

My breath deepened as I obediently sat on the sand. “We’d like to show you our healing abilities. You may want to lie down to experience this,” they told me through a wordless inner voice, which was more like thought transference than the spoken voices I’d heard from the angels.
I unzipped my sweatshirt and put it on the sand to rest my head upon. I lay down on my back, looking at the thin cloud over the beach. Suddenly I felt glued to the sand, and I had a mental image of Gulliver covered with Lilliputians and ropes.
“Don’t be afraid,” they repeated. “We are working on your energy field, what you call your ‘aura.’” The fairies explained that they were cleaning the negative energy that was stuck around my body. Like fish that suction barnacles off of sea creatures, I felt the fairies cleaning me. It was over within minutes, and I could move my arms and legs once again.
As I stood up, a cloud parted, revealing a blue sky and sunshine. My body reflected this vision, feeling youthful. It was similar to the sensation that I’ve had after a chiropractic adjustment or a massage, where I’ve felt greater freedom of movement even though I hadn’t noticed how tense I’d been before.
I realized that the fairies worked on us whenever we went outside in nature, or were in close proximity to animals or plants. So that was why I always felt refreshed after my beach walks. It wasn’t just the exuberance brought about by physical exercise and the sea breezes – it was the fairies clearing the air around me that created the fresh air in my aura!
If you’d like to see fairies, or at least feel a greater connection with them, try saying this prayer while outdoors. It’s especially powerful to say it, mentally or aloud, while you’re in an area where
wildflowers grow. You’ll know that you’ve successfully made the connection with the fairies when you feel compelled to pick up litter in the outdoors. This is one of the first communications that fairies normally make with humans. If you pick up litter, and treat animals and the environment with great respect, the fairies will show their appreciation by granting you wishes.
A Prayer To The Elementals
“Beloved Dana, goddess of the leprechauns; beautiful Diana, mistress of the wood nymphs; powerful Maeve, queen of the fairies; golden Oonagh, protector of the fairies: I ask your assistance in
connecting with the elemental world. Please introduce me to the fairies, and ask them on my behalf how I can get to know them better. I would like to develop a connection to the
fairies and elementals, and I ask that you show me the way. Please help my mind and spiritual vision to be open to communications from their magical realm. Thank you.”
